How we are responding to COVID-19

* Updated February 15th, 2022.

Is Cedarview Animal Hospital still seeing patients for appointments?

Yes!

We have modified our protocols to be able to see our patients in the safest, and most efficient manner possible. We are currently operating on a “curbside” basis. Clients are currently being asked to wait outside in their cars during their pet’s appointment, and the doctor and technician will communicate via phone. We will gradually be easing our restrictions in line with public health guidelines and recommendations from the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association as it is safe to do so.

We remain available via phone and email to answer your questions and concerns.

Can I still renew prescriptions and order pet food from the hospital?

Yes!

You can call or email us to place an order, or order online through our Webstore, which includes home delivery.

If you would like to pick up your order at the hospital, we offer contactless, curbside pick-up.

What is Cedarview Animal Hospital doing to protect its staff and clients?

We have implemented a number of emergency protocols and are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation. We remain responsive and adaptable to new direction from public health authorities as the situations changes.

Some measures include:

  • We have implemented a ‘curbside’ service. This means our front door is locked, and a member of our staff will escort your pet inside the clinic when it is time for your appointment, while you wait in the car.

  • Our staff are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including surgical and N95 face masks, and to follow physical distancing measures to the best of their ability while at the hospital.

  • We are following strict and extensive disinfection protocols throughout the day (above and beyond our normally stringent cleaning protocols!).

  • More than 90% of our staff have been fully vaccinated.

A note of thanks…

We greatly appreciate the patience and understanding of our clients at this time. We know you are concerned about your beloved furry family members, and we are here to support you and continue providing essential care to keep them healthy and safe.

If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you!
